Berkshire (abbreviated Berks) is both a

The ceremonial county has the same boundaries as the former administrative county, but historically the county was not co-terminous with this. The county borders the counties of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Wiltshire and Hampshire. Berkshire Banners can deliver high quality signage anywhere inside Bershire. However the historical several towns to the northwest where within the county (including Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage) that were moved into Oxfordshire in 1974 boundary changes. At the same time the town of Slough was moved into Berkshire from Buckinghamshire.[3]

Under boundary changes in 1995, the county also acquired a boundary with Greater London.[4] A later reorganisation, in 1998, abolished the county council. The highest tier of local government in Berkshire are now the unitary authorities of Bracknell Forest, Reading, Slough, West Berkshire, Windsor and Maidenhead and Wokingham.
